So we found out today that the big old factory known as "The Jazz Cave" (really the Neuhoff Meat Packing Plant) across the street from our house has a sweet leather shoe/bag store in it along with a bunch of other really cool things! Here's a link! Check it out!

Welcome to 2nd Avenue North!

My wife and I decided to start this blog to document our awesome life here on 2nd Avenue North in Nashville, TN! Besides us and a bunch of sleepy old factory buildings, we have 3 neighbors sitting here on the outskirts of Historic Germantown which is Nashville's first residential subdivision; an 18 square block that was granted to James McGavock in recognition of his service in the Revolutionary War.

Our goal is to share our ever-growing neighborhood with friends, family and whoever stumbles across our blog. We plan on updating semi-regularly with images of local architecture, shops, restaurants, festivals, etc. Sit back and enjoy the posts!

Side note: I'm a designer and my wife is a dental hygienist...and we have a black cat named Kingsley.
